MARIAN B. MCINTOSH

Marian B. McIntosh 90, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at Candler Hospital.
Mrs. McIntosh was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah. She graduated from St. Mary's College in Raleigh, North Carolina and was a member of the St. Mary's Alumni.
Mrs. McIntosh was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, served a Docent for the Green-Meldrim House, member of the Junior League of Savannah, the Savannah Yacht Club and was a former member of the Savannah Golf Club. Mrs. McIntosh was an avid golfer earlier in her life and was well known in the Savannah area for her exquisite taste and style in her dress and her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. McIntosh Sr. and her daughter-in-law, Patricia Carr McIntosh.
Surviving are, her son, William "Billy" S. McIntosh Jr. of Savannah, her daughters, Marian McIntosh Smeltzer of Atlanta and Jean McIntosh Hall and husband Pete, of Grahamville, South Carolina. Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 2 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church.
Burial will be in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
